What to expect

Inside a Serene home.

Environment
Converted residential properties in a community setting. Residents have their own bedroom and share communal living spaces. Designed to feel like a home, not a ward.
Staffing
Specialist mental health support workers, a Deputy Manager, and a Registered Manager. Trained in trauma-informed care, de-escalation, and Mental Health Act awareness. Agency use minimised.
Daily structure
Consistent daily routine supporting stabilisation and recovery. Residents supported with meals, medication, community activities, and engagement with their care coordinator and clinical team.
Care planning
Care plans developed on admission. Formally reviewed at four weeks, three months, and six-monthly, with Care Programme Approach reviews attended by Serene staff.
Technology

Connected homes.
Better care.

Every Serene home has free Wi-Fi for all residents and is operated using Metika, a specialist care management platform built for mental health residential settings.
